Nice N Sleazy (Bar/Nightclub)

Another great bar in the hustle and bustle of Glasgow is Nice N Sleazy. Located on the busy street of Sauchiehall Street this is the perfect location for a drink with friends. This bar also is a great place to catch some new music! It has resident DJs ripping up the dance floor some nights and other nights there is all sorts of different bands playing so there is something to suit everyone!

The things I myself quite like about this bar is that it offers a unique music vibe. Every wall is covered in vintage posters and has amazing card suit lights. Very different from your usual bar. It also has the epic jukebox with songs ranging from indie to ultimate rock and roll classics. If your a lover of your music then this is a definite hotspot for you!

You can also have your chance to book a gig or a party in Nice N Sleazy as they have a private room downstairs with a fully equipped PA system. If your booking a gig here, Nice N Sleazy don't only provide the space for your gig but they also provide posters and listings sent out to press and through there own mailing list so your guaranteed to create a bit buzz about you or your band!

Arta (Bar/Restaurant/Nightclub Glasgow)

Arta bar/restaurant is located in Glasgow’s City Centre. The bar is in Glasgow’s Merchant City so is easy to get to !

Arta is a  Mediterranean themed bar/restaurant which also has an indoor courtyard

The bar/restaurant is beautiful , absolutely stunning. The decor of this bar is outstanding it is a must see .... here are just some pictures of Arta inside ......

The bar is available for bookings for weddings and functions , so if you’re planning a classy night out with friends Arta should be on the cards!!!

Crystal Palace (Bar/Restaurant Glasgow)

Crystal Palace bar is located in Glasgow’s Jamaica Street ,in the heart of Glasgow’s City Centre. The Crystal Palace is part of the  J D Weatherspoons Group so it good value for money

The bar is open 7 days a week and serves food daily !

This Glasgow Bar offers food and drink at great prices !

The food that is served up has delicious and some meals very basic ie fish and chips but is delicious at brilliant prices ! The bar has promotions on their food which means it is affordable for even those on a budget.... deals like 2 meals for £7.79 it’s a bargain !!!!

 

 

 

 

The Crystal Palace Glasgow has two floors so it is a spacious bar great for meeting up for lunch with friends or for pre club bar.

With Sky sports and ESPN on the TV’s this bar is an ideal venue for any sports lover who wants to a have a pint and food while watching your favourite sport in this relaxing bar.

Waxy O’Connor’s (Glasgow Bar/ Restaurant)

It wasn’t until recently when I went to waxy O’Connor’s on George Street that I realised how amazing it truly is.

It has got 3 floors and 6 bars so you can imagine you would get lost but the great thing is that there will always be a place for you to sit. It is styled to be ‘traditionally Irish’ with their décor and overall atmosphere.

When we were looking for our table that we had reserved we saw that there was some live music and also there were rooms that had been hired out for private functions.

When we got our table, the service was great, and even though it was busy we were seated away from the noise so it meant that we could hear each other talk and have a great conversation. We also were able to use our ‘taste card’ which entitled us money off our already cheap food bill. They serve food until 8.45 every day and also include breakfast on a Saturday and Sunday. So you can even get some good quality food if you are looking for a late dinner.

People were mostly people there for a drink after work and it was a very chilled out, relaxing atmosphere. Nobody was too under/overdressed. Waxy’s also have multiple big screens throughout the bars and so they show all major sporting events.  It is also a great place to go if you’re going for a quick pint before you are catching the train home as it is right next to Glasgow Queen Street station.

Bar Budda (Glasgow Bar)

Bar Budda, Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow. Just recently visited this bar after hearing good things, have to say it lived up to the hype! Loved the layout with great booth space where there was plenty of space for a group of us. We used the bar as a pre-drink night before Jellybaby on Thursday (as Bar Budda give out free passes to Jbaby, hint hint!), we could easily have stayed there and made a whole night of it. While not being overly busy this night, we sat in our booth with a mixture of shots, Jaeger bombs and some bar budda cocktails and had a genuinely great time. The music was on point, with hit after hit and generally created a great vibe for the place.

I loved the privacy you get form the booths with the walls, it makes a night out with your friends really special. The staff were chatty and upbeat even when 2 of the guys got a load of cocktails in! The music was loud but not overpowering so we could chat, which was a great bonus. The lighting was dim and gave the bar a great look with candle lights and great big Buddha statues shining away.

From word of mouth, they do great deals for hen and stag parties and other such groups. The food we hear is great value and pretty damn tasty too. So, thumbs up for Bar Budda in Glasgow!

Strata (Glasgow Bar)

Strata is located in Glasgow’s City Centre , the bar is found on Glasgow’s Queen Street. The bar decor is lovely making anyone feel at home.

 Strata also serves up food and offers a range to suit different taste buds!!! Ranging from steaks to different fish dishes there are a selection of dishes to choose from

Ideal location means that it is perfect for having a lunch date with friends after shopping in Glasgow’s City Centre and has links to local public transport so is easily accessible. Also great venue to have a couple of drinks after work with beautiful decor and great service provided by staff !!

The staff are always friendly and welcoming making your experience extra special in the bar whether it’s a food order or cocktails the staff are always eager to help you make up your mind.

If you are having a get together the bar are now offering function hire so you can make your trip to Strata an extra special one!!
