Jumpin Jaks (Glasgow Nightclub)

If you have never been here you are missing out on a great Glasgow experience. It’s not like your average night out in the Garage or Sugarcube, no no..it is much different to that..

The first time that we went here was for a hen night…we had tables reserved which was great because we got a seat but we also got free entry, which started the night off even better! Many of my friends have still not been here but it was an experience that we will never forget. Some great memories were taken away from this night.

There is a large dance floor which if you are not on at the start of the night you certainly will be by the end! As the drinks were flowing, then it was time to have some fun on the dance floor. Now don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t chart music all night, there were some old classics in there as well (songs & people) but that just added to the great atmosphere.

We didn’t stop laughing all night and still talk about it now! Having a ‘dance off’ with an old man, you really have no hope of winning!

So if you are up for a fun night then we would definitely recommend this, if you don’t take yourself too seriously then you will love it!.

Viper (Glasgow Nightclub, Glasgow West End)

Viper is a club situated in the west end of Glasgow and it is a student’s place to be!

Monday night is definitely Viper night, that is when you will find everybody there but they are also open Wednesday – Saturday and it is cheap drinks on all these days!

Because it is not in the city centre then it cannot stay open as late as the other Glasgow clubs, so they shut at 2am but you can make up for it by just going earlier as they are open a t 9pm.

It is constantly busy but that will be because the great music that they provide such as RNB, Hip hop and house- Something to suit everyone.

Viper is definitely targeted at students, isn’t it great when you are there you are socialising with people your own age and not the golden oldies?

There are some special occasions where they stay open until 3, but i am guessing that you already knew that though if you were there celebrating St Patricks day at the weekend?

O'Couture (Glasgow Bar/Nightclub)

O’ Couture is a bar/ nightclub in Glasgow’s busy City Centre. The bar is found in Sauchiehall Street . The bar serves up food and drinks 7 days a week!!

At night the bar turns into a nightclub with dj’s and events throughout the week!!!

Major sports events also shown so is ideal to watch the different sporting events with delicious food and drink!

O’ Couture serve different types of food from pizzas to Tapas, there is something on their menu for everyone’s taste. Food is served from midday to 9pm so is ideal for a catch up with friends for lunch or a dinner date a night!!

The bar also offers free function hire so if it’s a works night out to a special birthday you can get free function hire here at O’ Couture

Mansion House (Glasgow Bar/Nightclub)

Mansion House is a bar/nightclub in Glasgow’s City Centre.  It is located on Glassford Street in the City Centre.   

The venue is very unique in regards to interior design and layout which makes it an extraordinary venue to party !!

The reasons for this is that this bar/nightclub has many different rooms inside : Merchants,  

Jewel Bar , Kanaloa Bar , Lucky Voice Room, Groovy Wonderland Bar ,Glasserie Restaurant . Here is just an inisght to some of the rooms that Mansion House has inside for you .......

Groovy Wonderland is 70’s and 80’s disco with a flashing dance floor is amazing !!! . The flashing dance floor is only one of the ways that it brings the discos back into modern days. The groovy wonderland also has private booths that can be reserved in advance to make your night out extra special !!

Jewel Bar is another bar inside Mansion House!! This sophisticated room can be hired for exclusive party hire so it means it can be your special night with your friends ! Ideal bar for birthday parties, special occasions and hen parties!! This has a beautiful decor adding to your experience making you feel like a VIP !! The bar holds up to 150 people so is a good size for any special occasion!!

These are only two of the rooms in Mansion House but the bars overall are brilliant in their own way ! All the rooms are beautifully decorated and each one of the rooms will suits anyone’s needs in a venue to party in Glasgow’s City Centre!!

JellyBaby (Glasgow Event/Club Night)

Jellybaby is one of the most popular student ‘nights’ in Glasgow! Presented to you at the O2 ABC (Sauchiehall St) every THURSDAY night from 11pm-3am, it is a great night with a packed out ‘up for it’ crowd. The night is spread across 3 rooms (Main Hall, Ice Bar and the Indie Room as it gets called). Overall the club plays a variety of indie, electro and rock, chart, pop and dance! Main hall plays all with a focus on classics and charts, it has a huge dance floor and stage and an area at the side for beanbags, YES BEANBAGS! The bars are big with plenty of staff working flat out, which on a Jellybaby night, is NEEDED! £1 vodka mixes usually keeps you sorted for the night! Obviously there are Gaymers cider for £1 as well, and jelly shots of course!

O2 ABC Main Hall

Jellybaby is a busy and cheap night out, up there with any ‘Saturday’ night feeling on the town! Get in have a great night, and be ‘merry’ for less than £40!? It’s a no-brainer!!!

As we mentioned before, it’s generally a student goer so you can meet like-minded people, up for a good party! Resident DJ’s keep you going with some nice mixes and chart toppers, so you’ll be bound to find yourself belting out the words to your favourite songs, EVEN if you don’t normally! It’s that kind of feel good place!

Never been? “I have uni on Friday’s”….PLEASE! Spare the excuses and get down to Jellybaby on a Thursday night people! Make that Friday lecture a little more memorable, for the wrong (but right) reasons!!!

Sugar Cube (Glasgow Nightclub)

If your looking for on the go partying then sugar cube is the club for you. This night club is one of the more popular clubs in Glasgow, located just off of Argyll Street, because of the décor and different rooms it provides. Each room has it's own DJ providing everything from RnB to Dance and has something for everyone. There is also a special VIP room which provides private bar and music! It has been decorated to the highest standards to create a classy and party atmosphere.

Booths are available to hire which are great for birthdays or any other special occasions! A booth usually provides a bottle of alcohol of choice and is great for a guaranteed seat when them heels are starting to give you ache! Also gives more privacy to you and your friends!!

Sugar Cube is open from Tuesdays to Saturdays and offer different events each night such as "iCandy Tuesdays" which is great for all you students out there for a weeknight outing! It also has some celebrity guests which do "meet and greet" nights! The next celeb to be visiting the club is "Gaz" from hit MTV show "Geordie Shore" why aye man!

Firewater (Glasgow Club/Bar)

As you get down the spiral stair case in your heels you are welcomed by a darkened area and candlelit tables, Firewater creates a great atmosphere. It doesn’t cater for one particular ‘style’ of person so if you are out with a group who all like ‘different things’ then this is your place.

Firewater is great as it accommodates for all different groups of people, wither it is for a date or a group of people out for a birthday night, the seating is available for you. And as with most bars reserving tables is the best option as the later it gets in the night the busier it becomes. There is also a function room that you can hire, so you can have all your closet friends/family in one place for your special occasion.

One thing that Firewater is well known for is on a Wednesday night they provide live music to keep everybody entertained but if that is not your scene then every other night of the week has got a Dj to play the music.

The later you arrive into the bar, you then need to pay an entry fee but it all works out with the drinks that are great value for money and are definitely one of the cheapest within the area.

Looking for a great night, great vibe & great company then Firewater is for you!

Campus Glasgow (Glasgow Nightclub/Bar)

Campus Glasgow is located in Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow’s City Centre. This American style bar is open 7 days a week so has an evening to suit everyone’s tastes. This venue has got a couple of layers so makes it a ideal venue to have functions especially as the bar offers free function hire that you can book in advance to secure a booth to make your night extra special!!.

Another reason to visit the frat house is the food that is served up, basic meals but delicious ranging from pizzas to burgers and reasonable priced!!

The bar is brilliant for those sports fans out there as the bar show the major sporting events whether it is the football or the rugby the bar will have it on their big screens!!!

Kushion (Glasgow Nightclub)

Kushion is one of Glasgow’s best nightclubs to go to; it is situated on Bath Street in the heart of Glasgow and is open 4 nights a week until 3am, so you can party on into the night!

Kushion is THEE current hotspot for students! Great music, cheap drink and the place is always jumping!

Drink Promos - Depending on the night, you can get drinks from £1 or£2, guestlist is also available throughout the week- what more can you ask for?

The club has 2 main rooms! Each with a different style of music; the first room plays a selection of Indie, Pop, Electro, House, and the second focuses on R’n’B and Hip-Hop, so there really is something to suit everyone!

For special occasions’ Kushion offers VIP packages’, book a booth or even hire a room. These are based at reasonable, competitive prices and depending on the deal you can end up having a few bottles of Grey Goose (Vodka) and also be on the guestlist.
